- Dark Goddess Ritual Without Tools
Aug 30 2009Many people have a lot of trouble with deep-seated negative emotions. I previously posted a cleansing ritual without tools that would clean a room of negativity and put up a barrier to allow only positive energy to enter. But what if the person living in the room is the source of the negativity? If you [...]
- The Autumnal Equinox: Getting Back to Basics
Sep 23 2008The Autumnal Equinox is a period of balance and transition. In the Eleusinian Mysteries, the maiden Kore is abducted by Hades, thus precipitating a series of events that lead to loss and hardship for many. Many people are learning about transition from a time of plenty to a time of loss and hardship. The credit [...]
- Fulfill Your Desires Using the Universal Economy
Sep 15 2008Most Pagans know the universe has infinite abundance to offer. Many ask me, though, “If the universe provides so much abundance, why can’t I afford my rent this month?” One reason is because you have not effectively used your relationships to receive the universal abundance you desire. It was a day of 7-9 inches of wet snowfall here in Aberdeen (after many days with the temperature in the 40s and 50s). The [...]
- Path of Spiritual Progression
Feb 09 2008Many interpretations of the pentacle are used by different people. The points can represent the five elements, wind, fire, water, earth and spirit. It can represent the Goddess with her arms and legs outstretched. It is also the head of the Horned God.
It also shows the steps of spiritual progression. Those steps are Will, Hope, Faith, Peace and Love. It is the process that souls go through in their path of enlightenment and reunion with the divine.
- Spiritual Seeking and Promiscuity
Nov 19 2007Everyone who changes their religion goes through a period of spiritual seeking. It is a time of discovery and experimentation to see which spiritual tradition speaks most to their calling. There is a dark aspect to this, though, which is quite prevalent in the Pagan community—Spiritual Promiscuity. Ian, over at Dreaming the Future Closer, wrote [...]
