- Mountain Vision |
Dec 31 2009
I had a vision after our family Yule ritual and saw a great mountain rising up into the sky, beyond where I could see. The mountain was covered with many roads and paths, all meandering their way upward. It was the Mountain of Divinity, though it goes by various names in different religions, including Mount [...]
- Pagan vs Abrahamic Religions Part I: Soul Ownership |
Jul 31 2009
One of the main differences contrasting Pagan religions from Abrahamic religions is the question of soul ownership or will ownership. Abrahamic religions see the choice as being between God and Satan. Pagan religions view it in different terms.
- Storms of Balance: Part II |
Mar 21 2008
Yesterday was Ostara, the Vernal Equinox. It was a very strange and eventful day, reminding me of a previous article I wrote last year about the Equinox, “Storms of Balance“.
It was a day of 7-9 inches of wet snowfall here in Aberdeen (after many days with the temperature in the 40s and 50s). The weather [...] - 3 Legs of Enlightenment |
Dec 30 2007
There are three parts involved in the journey toward enlightenment, our mind, heart and spirit. All three must develop in order for us to advance. Enlightenment is a three-legged stool. One leg is the mind, the second is the heart and the third is the spirit or soul.

The newborn sun has arrived!
Now is the time to stop introspecting and start putting energy and action toward your goals. I also talked about developing your resolutions for the next year. Now is the time to make those resolutions final and start acting on them.

Nov 24 2007
This time of year, between Samhain and Yule, is a difficult time. It is a time when most plants (at least in the north) have died, animals are hunkering down for winter, and the universe looks inward. It is the dark night of the year.
- Do the Gods Know Everything? |
Nov 11 2007
Many believe that the Gods are omniscient and omnipotent. While I agree that together, the Gods know and control everything, each God as an individual does not. Instead, each God has a domain They control.
- Time and History |
Sep 23 2007
It is the weekend of the Autumnal Equinox, a time of balance and transition. One of the major markers of time used by countless civilizations and cultures, along with the Vernal Equinox and the two solstices.
Our western culture wishes to see time itself as objective and unchanging. A day has 24 hours and each hour [...] - Do You Believe in Gods? |
Aug 26 2007
You probably have been asked if you believe in God at least a couple times in your life. The person asking normally expects a simple “Yes” or “No” answer, to which they generally have a canned response to convert you to their God.
The question is a valid one, however, that many of us in the [...]
